SCHEME 1S

                             THIS SCHEME IS APPLIED FOR A PRODUCTION BATCH

               In the case of certification under the 1S Scheme, the applicant is the    manufacturer   (person authorized by the manufacturer) or the seller (importer).

                        In the case of certification under the 1S Scheme, the procedures         provided for in this paragraph are carried out.

1. The applicant submits an application to the product certification body with attached documents.

2. The product certification body examines and analyzes the application and attached documents, adopts a decision on certification.

3. The applicant concludes a certification or certification and testing agreement with the product certification body.

4. The product certification body shall, in the presence of the applicant, carry out the identification of the product batch or the identification of product samples (test specimens) and take product samples (test specimens) from the batch.

5. Examinations (tests) of the product samples (test specimens) taken shall be carried out in an accredited testing laboratory.

6. The product certification body conducts a summary of the results of the analysis of the documents submitted by the applicant and the results of testing product samples (prototypes).

7. In case of positive results of the analysis of the documents submitted by the applicant, the examination (testing) of the product samples (test specimens) taken from the batch, the product certification body shall adopt a decision on issuing a certificate of conformity of the product, draw up the certificate of conformity of the product and provide it to the applicant.

In the case of this scheme, the certificate is valid until the expiration date of the product, but not more than 36 months.
