Scheme

SCHEME 2S

THE SCHEME IS APPLIED TO SERIALLY RELEASED PRODUCTS

In the case of certification under the 2S Scheme, the applicant is the manufacturer or the seller (a person authorized by the manufacturer).

In the case of certification under the 2S Scheme, the procedures provided for in this paragraph are carried out.

1. The applicant submits an application with attached documents to the product certification body of his choice.

2. The product certification body examines and analyzes the application and attached documents, and makes a decision on certification.

3. The applicant shall conclude a certification or certification and research (testing) agreement with the product certification body.

4. The product certification body shall carry out product identification and take samples (test specimens) of the product for testing in an accredited testing laboratory.

5. The product certification body shall conduct an analysis of the production status.

6. The product certification body shall conduct a summary of the results of the analysis of the documents submitted by the applicant, the results of the testing of product samples (tests) and the results of the analysis of the production status.

7. In case of positive results of the analysis of the documents submitted by the applicant, testing of product samples (prototypes) and analysis of the production status, the product certification body shall draw up a decision on issuing a conclusion of conformity, draw up a certificate of conformity of the product and provide it to the applicant.

8. The product certification body shall conduct periodic assessment (conformity control) of the certified product once a year during the validity period of the product conformity certificate, through product identification, testing of its samples (prototypes) and/or analysis of the production status in an accredited testing laboratory (center).

In the event that the product’s certificate of conformity expires, and in relation to that product, an application has been submitted by the applicant to the product certification body that conducted the periodic assessment of the certified product, the given product certification body shall take into account the positive results of the last periodic assessment of the certified product when conducting certification, if no more than 1 year has passed since its conduct.

In case of negative results of the periodic assessment of a certified product, the product certification body shall take one of the following decisions:

– suspend the validity of the product conformity certificate,

– terminate the validity of the product conformity certificate.

The decision taken by the product certification body shall be documented and the applicant shall be notified thereof.

The product certification body shall enter information on the suspension or termination of the product conformity certificate in the register.

In case of making changes to the structure (composition) of the product or its production technology that may affect the product’s compliance with the requirements of the technical regulation, the applicant, before making such changes, shall notify the product certification body that issued the product conformity certificate thereof in writing. The said body shall make a decision on the need to conduct additional product examinations (tests) and measurements and/or analysis of the production status.

In the case of this scheme, the certificate validity period is no more than 36 months.
